Moments of Light and Weather, an online exhibition, gives insight into one of the most important elements of MacFarlane's practice: the maquette. Her recent research trips to Austin, Texas; Sedona, Arizona; Gros Morne, Newfoundland and New Orleans, Louisiana have inspired a renewed interest in light, colour and weather, which are eloquently depicted in her latest paintings.
