The final element of my thesis was a digital animation called ‘See Saw’. The animation depicts views from lens-based technology. It shows hypothetical views from a microscope, telescope, binoculars and stereoscope. These shifts in seeing developed in the early 1600’s created a perceptual paradigm shift. Perceptual ways of looking effect our ideological developments and attitudes.
